All-In-One system utility

FileStream WinSettings Pro is a software which can be used to clean, fix and optimize your computer.

After you have finished to install the program and then start it, a WinSettings Pro Startup Wizard window appears.

Here you will be able to select from three options: not load WinSettings Pro, load WinSettings Pro and run WinSettings Pro once.

For the purpose of this test i picked the second option.

When eventually the main window of the program is displayed on the screen of your monitor, you will notice that the interface looks very good.

In the Home category of the program there are various fields including Password and Settings. In the first field can be set a password for the main functions of the software.

Taking a look at the general Settings, here can be established the temporary folder, choose from various Windows Startup Options and Customize Menu (Show "Clean up Tracks", Show "Screen Capture" and Show "Customize Desktop").

Now lets have a look at the main module of the software, Cleanup.

In Clean up Track can be erased Web Browser content (history folder, cookies, typed URL, all URL, Internet cache), Desktop content (documents menu, temp files, recycle bin) and Windows History (run history, find files history, find computers history, last logon user, auto-complete forms and auto-complete passwords).

After you have selected all that you want to be cleaned, just press the Clean Up Now button.

In the Schedule Cleanup category you can set the software to run the cleaning procedure at specified time intervals.

Remove Duplicate Files, as you can probably guess, is a very useful function when you want to get rid of duplicate files. Just select the folders that you want to be checked and then click on Scan.

Then all that needs to be done is to press the Delete Now button. You can decide to send the files to recycle bin or delete them permanently.

The next fields, Remove Junk Files and Cleanup Cookies, are very useful when you want to get rid of various unnecessary files and also cookies.

A very cool section is File Association. Basically here can be added, removed and cleaned up all sorts of files extensions.

Some other functions that can be found in the Cleanup module are Delete In-use Files, Secure Delete, Remove Startup and System Snapshot.

The next module of the program is Registry. Here can be made various general Settings (Internet Performance, Windows Tweaks, Registered Owner, Special Folders, Program and Installation Folders, Special Names, Removable Drives) and also some Advanced Settings (Add Commands To Context Menu and User Account Control).

Beside that, can be operated various changes to Appearance (Icons, Drive Icons, Windows, Logon) and Logon (Legal Notice Before Logon, Auto Logon and Secure Logon).

What i want to mention about the Registry module is the fact that is pretty difficult to be operated even by an advanced user.

In the last category of the software, Desktop, can be changed the wallpaper, activate the screensaver, enable background music etc.

Now lets have a look at the menu located at the top of the interface.

In File you can choose to Backup Registry and Create Restore Point.

In View can be added various panels and modify the way how the program is displayed (Menu Only, Normal).

A very useful feature that the application has is Screen Capture. In this field you are provided a wide variety of options: Screen Capture to Clipboard, Active Window Capture to Clipboard, Screen Capture and Save, Select Area Capture and Save, Screen Capture and Print, Select Area Capture and Print etc.

FileStream WinSettings Pro is without a doubt an excellent software. It has a nice looking interface, plenty of cleaning functions, excellent screen capture capabilities and you can modify and backup registry.

On the downside the Registry and Desktop modules are difficult to be operated.
