A very powerful ZIP file utility

Winzip is an extremely powerful and fast utility for file compression, backup and encryption.

The reason why nowadays this is an extremely popular program is because it provides a very easy and fast way to reduce file sizes and to archive various programs.

The size of the installer is small so definitely that there is no need to worry about the duration of the installation process.

The moment you have installed Winzip and you start it you will have to choose between the Wizard mode and Classic Mode.

If you are a beginner into the world of file compression then is recommended that you go with the wizard.

Beside being able to compress various popular files Winzip also offers image and photo compression.

The application has seen a significant improvement regarding the compression speed and also in the security area.

There is offered secured encryption which consists of 128 and 256-bit AES algorithms, Encryption Method control, Password Policy and others.

Without a doubt that the program's main advantage is its compression speed. Compared with Winrar and Wince it is a lot more faster.

The only drawback that this application has is that you are offered only ZIP file compression.
