Extract fast and easy archives and recover passwords

Unrar Extract and Recover is a free compression and decompression utility for Windows.

The application is very easy to be used. Basically after you have finished with the installation, process that is accomplished in a very short amount of time, and the program is launched, you will notice that all the functions can be easily accessed directly from the interface.

First of all, if you want to extract the content of an RAR archive, on the interface click the "Input Directory" button.

Then navigate to the folder in which you have stored the archives that you want to be extracted.

Next, establish the location where you wish the extracting process to be done. All that you have to do is to press on "Output directory" and then set the folder where the procedure to be saved.

Before starting the extraction, you may choose to enable options such as Remember Input Directory, Remember Output Directory.

Beside that, you can make the application to Map directory to archive name or Do not Map directory to archive name.

After you have finished setting up the utility, simply click the Go! button.

To test the extracting capabilities of the software i picked a 500MB archive. I have to say that the extraction speed is excellent.

What i want to mention is that, in case the selected archive file is password protected you can enable the option "Log Password".

By doing this, when the archive is extracted, the software will log the found password in a text document entitled "log_passwords.txt". This can be found in the software's folder which is usually located in Program Files.

But if you don't want to extract the content of the archive and you just plan to find out its password, on the main window check "Test Mode" and of course "Log Password".

I have to say that i really like Unrar Extract and Recover. It's very easy to use, the extraction speed is very good and it can perform password recovery.
