Simple but very effective file compressing utility

Hamster Free Zip Archiver is a very unique application into the world of the archivers. The first thing that you notice at this program when is compared with its main rivals is the interface. I have to say that it looks fantastic.

This archiver will fit perfectly with the latest Windows operating system. Beside of the fact that the program looks great it is also extremely easy to use.

If you want to create an archive all that you need to do is to press Add files, which is located at the bottom of the main window in the left corner. After you have added the file or files the next step is to press compress.

The moment you press this button you will be prompted to choose the folder where you want this process to be accomplished.

I have to say that the archiving speed is very good. I selected a pretty large file and it did not take long until the archiving process was finished.

If you want to unzip various files that are stored on your hard drive just go the Open field, which is located at the top of the main window right next to Create.

Click on the big Open archive button and select the files that you want. Next what you have to do is to press Extract. A window will appear in which you will have to choose the location where you want this process to be completed.

What i want to mention is that whether you want to create or to extract an archive you can also add or open files by dragging them into the main window.

By entering the Settings menu there are certainly not a lot of options available. You can change the language, the theme and you can do a couple of other settings.

In my opinion Hamster Free Zip Archiver is just as good as WinRAR, WinZip or PowerArchiver. The application is very easy to use, is fast, very light on your system resources and on top of that it looks great.
