VPN client for PC gamers

Tunngle is a VPN client which is mainly dedicated to the gamers. After the install process is completed you need to restart the PC. When the program is started, to be able to use it, first you need to create an account.

If you already have one just type the user name and password. The moment you login on the screen of your monitor appears a decent looking interface. However it's main problem is that for a novice in the beginning it is a little bit confusing. I say this because the combination of the colors is certainly not the best.

The main interface is black, the text is white and in various places you have red. However after spending a couple of minutes with the program you certainly get used to it. The menu is pretty well organized. In the left side at the top of the screen you have Network Search and Network Explorer. In the second category you have various types of game genres: shooter, strategy, action, rpg, sport etc.

Basically in Network Explorer you can join all your favorite games. To join a particular game that you like, you just need to search it in the list and once you have found it double click on it. Then what you have to do next is to start the game, select the multiplayer in-game menu and then search for LAN games.

What i like about the application is that it has available the Bookmarks section. Basically here you can add all the game networks that you like. In the same Network Explorer category you also have Chat Lobbies. When i clicked on this section nothing happened. I pressed the Refresh button and nothing.

I closed Tunngle and then i started the program again. What i noticed is that the login process takes a pretty long amount of time. The moment i managed to login i clicked again on Chat Lobbies and this time it worked. There are chat rooms available in various languages including Bulgarian, Croatian, English, french, Greek, Italian etc.

The thing that i don't like is that there are moments when you can enter on each of the Lobby however there are also situations when most of them do not work. To fix this you need to press refresh and if this doesn't work restart the program completely.

Under Chat Lobbies you have the Quick Access menu. Basically here you can enter in the program's main functions. The application also provides a search network bar which is very useful when you want to search for various networks.

In the left side at the top of the main window you have menu elements such as Home, Community, System and Help. In System you can change the look of the program by selecting from the available skins. By entering Community you can enter the forum or download various skins. In the right side of the program can be found various sections such as Tunngle News, Community News and Help etc.

At the end of this review i can say that i like Tunngle. It offers you a wide variety of game networks and a decent looking interface. What i don't like is that there are moments when the Chat Lobbies feature doesn't work and the login procedure can take a while.
