Insane Download Speeds
The Internet Download Accelerator or simply called IDA in my opinion is one of the best download managers out there.
When you are looking to install on your computer such an application in most of the cases you are thinking about increasing your download speed and with this program certainly that you will take advantage of that.
I have used lots of downloads managers including Download Accelerator Plus but none of them managed to increase the download speed as IDA.
When you are downloading something and you are using strictly the browser for such a thing in most of the situations you can not take advantage of your full bandwidth.
If for instance you have a 10 KB download speed in your internet browser by using IDA there were cases when i reached more than 200 KB download speed.
However beside being a very fast download manager IDA has lots of features that are making it a joy to use.
The moment you have installed IDA and you start the application a window will appear with a menu from which you have to choose the type of Internet connection that you have.
The main interface is well organized and it looks very good. In the settings menu you have plenty of useful features such as scheduler, proxy, site manager and others.
A very useful feature that has caught may attention is the integration module. If you activate this the moment you start a download it will be automatically transferred to IDA.
In the download window you can establish the location on your hard drive where you want to download the file.
You can run up to ten downloads simultaneously. At any time you can choose to pause or delete the running downloads.
All the files that you have downloaded are placed into specific categories. If for instance you download mp3s those files will be placed into the Music category, applications into the Programs category and so on.
After you have finished all of your tasks you can even set up IDA to disconnect you from the Internet or to shut down you computer.
I really like Internet Download Accelerator. It is a very simple but at the same time very powerful application. It can be set up extremely easy and very fast.
I recommend every one to use this download manager. In really think is better than Download Accelerator Plus mainly because it is simple to use and a lot more faster.
