Photomania Deluxe is an application which was designed with the purpose to manage and edit pictures.

After you have installed the program and launch it, a window will appear in which can be made all sorts of changes to the software's following sections: Album, File Types, Mouse, Slideshow and Viewer.

If you click on File Types, you will notice that the software supports a wide variety of file formats.

I decided to leave all of those options in the default setting.

When Photomania Deluxe is started, you will be redirected to the program's viewer.

Right at the top of the interface you have a bar in which are displayed basic controls for managing the pictures: Save, Set Wallpaper, Print, Next and Previous Image buttons, Zoom functions, Full Screen etc.

Beside that, you also have Slideshow Backward, Slideshow Forward and Slideshow stop.

This functions are very useful when you load up into the application and entire directory with images.

An excellent function that can be found in the same controls section is Tuning. Here you can easily tune up your images just by following the wizard.

What i like is that all the controls are represented by some very stylish icons.

To load pictures into the program, go to File and then press Open. The moment you do that, in front of you will appear the main interface.

In the left side you have a box, which may be used to navigate through all of your folders.

When you select a folder with various images, all of them will be displayed into the main window.

If you click on a image, right at the bottom of the window, you will be able to see a preview of the selected file. To open the picture, just double click on it.

The thing that really annoys me into the viewer is the default background image.

I must say that the combination of white and black is very tiring on the eyes. You will notice this especially when opening small sized pictures.

To exit the program's viewer, at the bottom of the interface, in the left side, simply click on Album.

Lets check out the rest of the available fields. In File can be accessed the general Options of the application.

The View section provides various controls that may be used into the viewer: full screen, zoom in and zoom out, next image, slideshow forward etc. Beside that, here can also be added various bars.

At the top of the main interface, going to the Album section, you can choose how the pictures to be shown into the application, enable the Preview window etc.

The next category, Publish, allows you to create a PDF slideshow, a PDF album and export images to PDF. Here you can also select to make an HTML album.

In Effects are available a wide variety of image filters and in Tools you are provided all sorts of useful utilities such as: batch convert, set wallpaper, picture frame, histogram, image info etc.

What i like in Tools is that, by accessing the Screen To Bitmap section, you can easily capture a screenshot of your desktop or the active window.

As a conclusion, whether you decide to use the program as an viewer or as an image editing tool, Photomania Deluxe is an excellent choice.
