The latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework

Microsoft NET Framework is basically a platform which was developed for the purpose of creating new Windows applications. The latest version of this program includes components that are required to create on your system NET based programs.

The web installer has under 1MB. However don't be tricked by this. The installation process is very long. After the application will download all of its necessary components then it will proceed to install them. Even on a pretty powerful system this process takes a while to be completed. Despite this, the installation procedure is very simple.

Microsoft NET Framework 4 has seen improvements regarding various aspects however the most significant one is in code debugging. Beside that has been included support for multi touch management in the latest Windows operating system and for Surface 2.0 SDK.

Also the application has optimized the process to work with CSS and HTML. This latest version works side by side with Net Framework 3.5 SP1 and with other older Framework versions.

What i don't like about Microsoft NET Framework 4 is that the installation process takes too long and on top of that when it's completed it is required to restart the computer.

Good:

-simple install process
-works with older Framework versions

Bad:

-long install procedure that requires system restart
