Change the appearance of your standard desktop clock

ClocX is an application that replaces your Windows standard clock. The program installs very fast. The moment this process is finished and you start ClocX a brand new clock appears on your desktop. Now lets explore the options of the program.

To be able to access them you need to press click right on the new clock and then enter in Options. Here you can set the level of transparency, make the application to be always on top, to start with the Windows, establish the priority level and the language, make the clock unmovable etc.

What i like a lot about this program is the fact that there many great looking skins available. Just enter in appearance and select from the list.

Inside the clock you can choose to be displayed the date, AM/PM etc. In this section a very cool option is Zoom. Just press enable and then move the cursor until you are satisfied with the clock's dimension. In the appearance category can also be found a Plugins section however it doesn't work.

Beside being able to make various settings to the way how is displayed the clock you can also set an alarm. Just press click right on the application and enter in Alarms. Here you will be able to set the exact day and time when you would like the alarm to go off. Beside that you can also set the alarm to play a video or sound for a certain amount of time and to shutdown your PC.

ClocX also has a calendar however this doesn't come as a detachable window as the clock. To see it you need to press on Calendar. The moment you do that the general menu disappears. To return back you need to press close.

To be honest i really like ClocX. It is a simple but very cool application. The only thing that's not so great is the fact that the Plug-in support is not developed.

Bad:

-Plugins section doesn't really work
