Replace the default Windows clock with a very stylish one

Chameleon Clock is a desktop clock for Windows. Although the installer has 3.50Mb the installation process takes a pretty long amount of time.

The moment you start the program you are welcomed by a Quick Introduction window. You can either choose to press next and check out all the tips or you can close it.

Next, another window appears where you can choose to enable or disable Wallpaper Clock. There are available various display modes: Native and Active Desktop.

After you have made all of this settings you will notice that the standard windows clock has been replaced with a very stylish one. What i like about it is the fact that it displays the seconds.

Now lets check out Chameleon Clock's options. First of all by pointing the mouse on the new windows clock a calendar is displayed. Here you can set an alarm and an reminder.

To enter the options click right on the new clock and then press Main Dialog. On the screen of your monitor will be displayed the default window of the program.

Entering in Options you can set the application to show the clock in Windows tray or as a floating clock. Here you can also set the Date/Time, change the look of the clock, make the application to be always on top, set the skins directory etc.

In the next category, Actions, basically you can set alarms, birthday dates, atomic clock and time zones. Also in actions you have a backup section.

This is very useful because you can backup and then restore your Chameleon Clock settings, alarms and birthdays. You may choose to make a backup hourly, daily or weekly on Fridays.

In Skins you can change the appearance of the clock, modify the wallpaper clock, set a screensaver etc. What i liked a lot is that there are available lots of skins.

If you are undecided which to use you can opt for the Random skin change feature. This will change the appearance of your clock every hour or when windows starts.

Going at the menu located at the top of the window, here you can manage your skins, set alarms and the time etc. Now that i have explored the Main Dialog box, lets take a look at the other settings.

In Clock Options you can choose the application to show the date, seconds, tooltips, transparent background.

In Wallpaper Clock you may pick from the available wallpapers. However there is just one available. If you want more you need to press on the Get Skins button and download them directly from the website.

Going at the next field, New, here you can establish various alarms, birthdays, time zone etc. Other settings that can be made are Quick Reminder, Adjust Date/Time, Show Countdown, Show Calendar, Show Stopwatch.

Chameleon Clock is have to say that is a very impressive time utility. It replaces the default windows clock with a very stylish one, there are available lots of skins and the program is very easy to be used.
