Excellent application for managing your Nokia cell phone

Nokia PC Suite is a software with which you can connect your Nokia mobile phone to a computer. The program allows you to access and transfer various mobile content.

After the installation process has been completed and you start the application, on the screen of your monitor is displayed a good looking and easy to use interface.

The main functions of the program can be accessed directly from the main window or by entering in File, which is located at the top of the interface in the left corner.

In the Backup section basically you are able to create a backup from phone to PC. When you press on this function a new window is displayed from which you will have to select your phone model.

Also here you can choose to backup phone content to a backup file and restore phone content to your device from a backup file.

Now taking a look at Synchronise, here you can synchronise contacts, calendar, emails and notes between the phone and Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Lotus Notes or Lotus Organizer.

In Connect to the Internet you are able to connect your PC to the web by using your Nokia mobile phone.

A very useful section is Contacts. Here you are able to manage and edit contacts on your phone. When clicking on Contacts, a window appears (Nokia Communication Centre) in which you have displayed all the contacts that are stored in your phone.

They are grouped by name, mobile, phone, email, company and address.

In the Nokia Communication Centre window you can also handle your Messages (you can create new message, open message, reply to message or delete message) and Calendar.

The next field, File Manager, allows you to transfer files between the phone and PC and browse phone and PC contents. The moment you click on File Manager, will be displayed a window in which you are able to navigate to the folders where you know that you have stored various data.

Store Images basically offers you the chance to store videos and images from the phone to your PC. Here you are in the position to pick the phone that you want to use.

Entering in Transfer videos, you may transfer various videos between the computer and phone. When clicking on this you will have to set the folder where you want to store your mobile videos.

Here you can also make the program to scan for videos on your PC. All that you have to do is to select the folder that you want to be scanned.

Now lets take a look at the Nokia Video Manager. In this section you can handle very easy all of your videos. In File you can decide to Import videos, transfer them to phone and to PC and also remove videos from phone and from PC.

In Tools you are offered the possibility to scan for videos and pick from various settings: video quality, set the default folders, associate Nokia Video Manager with several video files, transfers etc.

In the Install applications field, you have the opportunity to install various Java and Symbian applications to your phone.

The next section, Explore Music, allows you to download music on your computer and then transfer it to your mobile device. To use this function, first you will have to download and install the Nokia Ovi Player.

Nokia PC suite also permits you to download maps and to make various updates to the program.
 
In the general settings of the software you can choose from various types of notifications that you want to be displayed for a specific device, operate various modifications to the Audio Conversion and Video Conversion functions.
 
Overall i have to say that i like a lot Nokia PC Suite. It has a very simple and intuitive interface, all the program's functions are extremely accessible and you have available numerous tools for personalizing your phone.
