Split your favorite music albums into individual audio tracks

CUE Splitter is a very useful application when you want to split a music album or a big audio file into several independent audio tracks. The interface of the program although is not the best looking is extremely intuitive and simple to use. The menu system is not complicated at all.

In order to split for instance an MP3 album all that you have to do is to enter "File". This is located at left at the top of the window. You will press "Open Cue File" and once you do that in the main window will be displayed the list with all the available tracks.

To advance with the process all that is required to be done is to press the Split button. The moment you will do that a window will appear in which you will have to set up the location where you want the split to be made.

If for instance you split an MP3 album this process will be completed in seconds. However if you want to split a big audio FLAC file this could take a while. If you have a powerful CPU, like a quad or dual core, this will not take very long but with a single core certainly that the procedure will run a little bit slower.

Near the "File" menu there is Edit. From here you can change or modify the data about you favorite audio tracks or albums. The interface doesn't have many customization options. The only thing that you can change are the fonts. By accessing the tools menu you can add the genre of the music that you are listen and various information about your audio tracks.

If you have difficulties in using this application there is a Help section. Here you have available an Online Tutorial and also an Check For Updates option. Other than this there is no much to tell about CUE Splitter. It is a lightweight and simple application that is extremely useful when you want to split your favorite music albums.

Although it doesn't have many options in my opinion this is an excellent thing. Even someone that has no idea how this program works will manage to split his favorite audio albums in a very short amount of time.

CUE Splitter in my opinion is almost a perfect application. The only thing that could be improved is the interface. Other than that it is just perfect.
